looking at using shipping container for storage of sawdust or straight feeds was looking at open top 40ft containers but look expensive at £4300 delivered or looked at 45ft high cube containers around £2500 delivered
we have a jcb 52755 and skid steer for unloading the issue is filling the container any thoughts

Its a pitty the sawdust wagon don't drop a full container off and take the empty one away. Would be a good system.

we get 20 tonne on a walking floor problems with availability in winter and could do with another store on other side of farm handy for further away cubicle shed

don't have a blower and don't want the cost of using a blower wagon service if we push the stuff in with jcb my worry is the roof, will i only get it half full ?

Big Bucket on the Skid steer, you'll be suprised how quick you'll fill it, It can be done with the loadall but slower and greater chance of damage.

Not much dearer to buy a couple of big grain trailers, then can tip them up to empty?
And have other on farm uses.

I've filled a lorry box many times with the Bobcat, plenty of room for that in one.
Some very carefull driving needed to get 2.5m wide Merlo in , so not really practical with that.

There is a badly damaged one in that new lorry yard on the side of the M6 at Penrith I see, looks like a rollover, might be cheap to a good home , bit straighten up with a 360 or something and it might do for little money?
