I've got a couple of permissions by me in Shropshire I just knocked on a few farms a few years ago where I saw lots of vermin in there fields & buildings etc, I did get turned down at first a few times but when they can see you're a responceable person & doing a good job word soon gets around & before you know it you have the neighbours permission to.

Nice one mate, im doing pretty much the same.knock on doors and ask around, ive got good contacts in the shooting and farming set..but your right, you see the state of some fields and rats in yards, and you think how can they not need FREE ! help. Or whoever is doing their control is doing a bad job.

It's all down to trusting a complete stranger to wander about your property alone often in the middle of the night. Just think about it for a second.

I'm not tarring all & sometimes it can just be something you mentioned to wrong bloke down the pub etc "and they never lock the quad bike away"... The two legged rats are far worse than those with four.

To be fair lads, you aren't going to get far with an advert on an internet forum. You are basically looking for somewhere to go do your hobby without having to pay for it but instead dress it up as a "free" service to the farmer and get all arsey when they see straight through it.

If you knocked on doors you might have a bit more success.

Thats a fair point , id be the same if the other way round.
Thats why i dont like just rolling up into the yard and asking permission. It feels too direct.
I prefer to be recommended, or know the friend of a friend type of contact.
