Shooting Syndicate Looking for Shooting Rights to Lease

Hi,
I represent a small (non-commercial) shooting syndicate looking to lease the shooting rights to some land somewhere in the following areas: - Worcestershire, Herefordshire or Gloucestershire.

All members are experienced shooters and fully insured. We understand the opportunities for shooting rights are not easy to come by so we are willing to consider multiple smaller sites or one large.

This is also something we expect to pay for with a proper agreement and we are fully aware of the going rates.

No can do, already have a couple am afraid. I would think most would be sown up certainly around this way. Reckon it maybe worth having a word with some of the Land Agents, maybe they would know if any becomes available etc.

Thank you guys.

Any recommendations on land agents?

Strutts and Savills in Ciren, they tend to look after quite a few large estates in the area, Moore Allen & Innocent would also be worth a try. It is not the ideal approach but about the only one you've got short of going around knocking on doors.

Thank you.

Door knocking is going on alongside this just in the off chance we get lucky.

what sort of rate is payable per acre for sporting lets?

That depends on the land, location and access. Good quality land well managed in a populated area of the country can command top prices. Desolate land in the arse end of nowhere not so much.

The original post was placed in the full knowledge of what the “going” rate is so please feel free to PM me if you want to discuss.
