Short to medium term Red Clover mixture

A short to medium term Red Clover mixture specially formulated by Barenbrug UK for Countryside Seeds. Containing only listed varieties found in the current 2018/19 RGCL list.

The mix below will produce very high yields of energy, protein and sugar culminating in very nutritious silage.

This mixture offers excellent disease resistance.

Barmultra II Italian Ryegrass (Tetraploid) high yielding with excellent disease resistance very persistent, produces 20% more than perennial ryegrass

Kirial Hybrid Ryegrass (Tetraploid): Excellent disease resistance, high yields, particularly in years 2 & 3 and good digestibility

Fintona Intermediate Perennial Ryegrass (Tetraploid): Fintona combines favourable attributes of both parents and sets a new standard in forage production for intermediate tetraploid perennials in UK and Republic of Ireland Recommended List trials.

Yes, remember Clover will need a soil temperature of least 10dC for germination. We do have a Red Clover overseed mixture but as the above mix is specially formulated for us with a committed tonnage the above mixture is cheaper!
