Doubtful but shortages are coming with dairy farmers struggling for staff and struggling to cope with all the stupid rules and regs forced on them by milk buyers and the EA. Costs of modern dairy farming are mind blowing too. Multiple inspections from jumped up little hitlers with more and more stupidity, rules over what feed you can and cant feed because of where the soya is sourced etc. If milk gets short dairy firms will only have themselves to blame . I dont think they will wake up to it until the fridges and shelves are empty one morning in this country .Just been chatting with someone

We supply a local Coop with milk which they sell alongside their "co-op" milk.Lorry break down or problem with shop computer system. Very sceptical they are short of milk.
precisely, production is on a par with last years, and liquid market will always prioritise supplies by topping up with spot when neededLorry break down or problem with shop computer system. Very sceptical they are short of milk.
I agree, lots of dispersal sales and a lot of smaller ones probably quietly disappearing as well. Then we have the superstars putting on a few hundred more cows, etc. building new rotaries and putting on 500 more cows to pay for it.. Muller and co must love them...until a video appears of cows being mistreated...Doubtful but shortages are coming with dairy farmers struggling for staff and struggling to cope with all the stupid rules and regs forced on them by milk buyers and the EA.
