I'd love a tractor with the JCB engine.
Strange they use sisu engines in tractors then?

No thats what they had before. All tractors should have cvt type gearboxes in my opinion.Maybe try 7000 series again with direct drive style transmission

AGCO are now a major supplier to JCB tractors. Not only do they supply AGCOpower [Sisu as was] engines but also the AGCO CVT transmission [a la Fendt].
There was a UK based baling contractor on you tube had a 7000 series fastrac gearbox loaded on an ifor williams heading to a transmission repairer, never seen the outcome but in previous videos he was not happy about jcb parts supply and attitude to older tractors. Be interesting to hear the outcomeDon't think they sold many either.
The gearbox was dreaded P-tronic fitted to 3230 also as far as i remember.
I know a couple people that run them and really like them. Massive external brakes!
That depends on whether or not it has a proper gearbox.Hi hilly ,fastrac maybe fast on the flat but turn up hill what happens ??

Slowtrac?Jcb could make a conventional tractor but just label it jcb rather than a fastrac,
Hillys got 3185s, hills don't bother them. Can't beat a cummins engine.Hi hilly ,fastrac maybe fast on the flat but turn up hill what happens ??
Well if take out the fastrac name they could produce a 40k tractor with a semi powershift gear box ?Slowtrac?
