Isnt it ironic that teachers are now off full pay probably for the next 6 months but there is an option of paying for online tution? Huh if they can do it then why cant we?
The work my year 6 child had this week was independent skills - so upload something youve done for the whole week - wow! 2 weeks Easter hols well no one is really on holiday are they? so could be an option to upload some worksheets?
The school has provided links but no books or proper worksheets.
Following on from hols I think there will be a piece a day to continue.
I am so so worried my child is prob 2 years behind and had some help but the most of it has been through paying for a tutor at a centre (now closed)which he was liking and doing well. They started from scratch with his maths very basic adding and subtracting (infants). Sadly he starts comp in September and I feel almighty concerned how he's going to cope.
At this level of technology why cant we have virtual classrooms? Not as if this country is advance in education. Dont get me wrong Im not a pushy parent but 1hr virtual schooling would be better than what I can offer. My other option is to get more Collins workbooks but getting the boys to do it is another thing.
