Look at valtra and improvements, marketing agco have done for them.

It's quite obvious agco aren't interested in MF. Could have fitted smart touch screen to it, mounted screen on arm rest, instead of the game boy screen mounted to door.

Yes that same screen should have been controlling everything in the tractor as it seems to be able to do in a Valtra.
One screen is far less clutter. Fendt seem to manage it. & several others
It wouldnt take a university degree to just tidy a few simple area's up on even the current S series tractors & it would improve Masseys overall image.
But oh no they cant see there doing anything wrong.

Only just had a chance to read this thread. Hardly a negative word throughout the pages I've seen which is great given all the negativity from some over the last few months. Valtras have had a good mention and have to say they did look good. Can't remember who told me but someone said people from JD were there having a good look at the event to see what they were missing??
As an exhibitor, while we had the same size stand as Peterborough it has cost over 150% more, plus increased associated costs. Have one major complaint which I'll take up with the organisers at some point, but based on the atmosphere we would want to return in 2020.

That aside, I thought the show had a great buzz and seemed a far more professional event, with exhibitors making more of an effort, knowing they had a dry, warm and dependable site. Maps of the site were poor if you were looking for something specific with stand numbers too small to see
for my usually perfect eyesight. Stands with shell schemes have a stand number on them but the others don't, so it can be difficult to find a specific stand number in busy halls at times.

I needed to visit 4 stands who were all very helpful. Two visits will lead to a sale for those stands as a result of their advice. The third visit had a useful link to a company in Ukraine who have quoted us today £10k less for something we've been investigating for 6 months over here. Fourth visit, good potential if they contact me. So a good show for me outside of the stand.

Arrived home at lunchtime today having left Monday lunchtime so been a tiring few days. Would dearly have loved to stay for the Autosport show but was ready to come home. Was chatting to teams and companies exhibiting at Autosport in the hotel last night and if you like your cars and motorsport it must be a great event. They couldn't believe @LAMMA Show was free with free parking. Cheapest public entry ticket for Autosport was £36 and he said the show gets packed.

Good to see @Shovelhands and local boy @Cab-over Pete.

I will happily hook the trailer on my car, put my taco card in and head up to scotland if you want to see the spreader! Seriously, how did you miss the 12ft tall flags!!! hey, come say hi next year!
Much interest regarding the plough? We run that now. Ive been impressed by it [emoji1303]

Sorry @Chae1
If you would have checked the show guide, we were in Hall 18 stand 256.....
Shame as would have been good to see you. I saw quite a few member walk past... @Will 1594 ... also spoke to a few!
Stand cost was for us 10m x 4.5m £3500...... Add hotels, haulage, carpets, electric etc... so around £6,000. Not massive but we wanted to test the water a little. I will definitely go bigger next year as it was an excellent show. My team were amazing and made sure that every single person that came on the stand was spoken to. Some were just looking but all got spoken to. I have been vocal in my thoughts and worries about Lamma. But I am delighted to be proved wrong! well done @LAMMA Show
edit, we were so busy most times people were either queuing to talk to us or decided to come back and try again! That is the mark of a great show!
when did you go to sulky , ,doubledays doing them now , would that sprung coulter do a bit of dd type drilling

Cheers Andrew, good to catch up with you.

I thought it was very good. Not been since the -5 degree freezing fog Newark show so it was certainly better than that!

Well worth it and, dare I say it, I wouldn’t baulk at paying a tenner in future.

I don’t understand the obsession with a free show. I accept free parking is best and saves hassle when you get there, but for the entry I would pay an entrance fee. The European shows charge for entry. It’s not much different to the motorsport show in that the people attending are generally doing it because they have a genuine interest. I think it would clear out some of the tyre kickers. At the end of the day a £25 entry is not a lot in the scheme of things in the business. The old shows they used to run at stoneleigh for the renewable energy etc used to charge exhibitors a high price and a high entry fee. But the exhibitors said it resulted in genuine enquiries. All that said LAMMA was a good show and it was nice to see it growing into the premier show for uk ag.

just a quick take on entry fee I would be prepared to pay a sensible entry fee to ensure the continued success of the show if it helped the smaller companies exibit if my entry fee could be put into a pot to reduce the cost for them I wouldn't object however I am damned if I am going to subsidise the likes of john deere /Syngenta et al however I doubt this is possible and I fear the greed would be to skim as much as they can from both exhibitor and visitor that is why I am loathed to express my views on paying to the organizers of the show however if my views are the same as most on here perhaps the organizers should be told

in the grand scheme of things charging people to get in or park etc would make bugger all difference, a few hundred £ per stand maybe which when you consider the overall cost of going to a show (not just the stand price) is a drop in the ocean !

exhibitors go to shows because they want people to see their products and they are happy to pay for that ........ if they were not they would not exhibit

shows without potential customers are the expensive ones to go to
