Take a look on YouTube. My son (now 13) started showing dairy heifers a few years ago. Virtually self taught as I have no experience whatsoever! Most of his training came from YouTube, he wins prizes for young handlers, as does our daughter (10) he trained her! This year we also had one of our heifers placed 3rd in her class at a fairly major show!
Do you have a local club you can join? What breed do you have?
Biggest question is beef or dairy as both are clipped differently! Go with a open mind enjoy learn from mistakes and remember it's only one man's opinion
