Show time! Devon County

Better late than never its the Devon County Show starting on Friday 2nd for 3 days.
No Royal Cornwall this year, so will we see any natives venturing over the Tavy for a proper "crame tay"?

Or any "zumerzet" folk come down for a drop of proper cider?

Is it very agricultural based? Lots of people say it’s nothing like royal Cornwall.

No it's nothing like Royal Cornwall .But it's the only one or first to go ahead and will probably not be like a normal one so may be surprised !

Prepare to be hugely disappointed.

It's the only thing that Ii will admit that Cornwall does better than Devon.

Yes, good show, as is the Mid Devon. Mid Devon only a single day though.

Honiton is a good show, along with mid devon and okehampton. Devon county is like going to Exeter shopping, lost it’s agricutural way years ago although the livestock side is getting slightly better, don’t know how many cattle will be there as it’s expensive to tb test and hard work to halter break for one show when most of the other shows are cancelled.

we gave up breeding & showing pedigree limo’s in 1995,it was enough work back then so can only imagine with all the tb testing required these days it’s a nightmare!!
