You'll know it has a tandem pump by the combining valve lever in the cab on the console. Likely being a 2wd it does not, but that doesn't really mean it would make a poor loader tractor. We have used a DB 885 as one of our main loader tractors on the farm since well before my time, it's not the fastest thing but it gets the job done, all you can ask really.

Yes, that empty slot is for the combining valve lever.
