Something about the late 94 series, they just seem to look the part especially in white, even better if David Brown is written on the side!
Where's the Other one I used to see hurtling down the Mold Denbigh?
Is that a new tractor @Selectamatic ? I thought you had a 1410 for hedgecutting?
I did, but the 1410, after being a front line tractor for many years has earned a bit of retirement, the plan is to give her a bit of a mechanical and cosmetic going over... not sure when though...
Is that a new cultivator @Selectamatic? And what's on the back of the smaller DB?
Is that part of a plastic bread tray in the front of the bonnet?
Nope its actually a piece of inch ply, painted with holes drilled in it. The bigger hole is so you can put your hand in to use the deadman switch on the battery. A new grill is on the shopping list as is a bucket for itIs that part of a plastic bread tray in the front of the bonnet?
£5k will buy a good one. I would try and avoid the Q cabs. The early ones access was terrible if you are anything but a midget. They all suffer interminable wiring issues.I am thinking of selling my FE35 and getting a DB995
I Have a budget of £5K and wondered what I can expect to get for that kind of money and what problems should I look for.
There is a wealth of technical advice on these tractors on the DBTC club forum, but be aware one of the most experienced posters is Finnish and he is not diplomatic. In his posting! Thanks for all the advice.
I am not averse to going open station if the right tractor presents itself.
Mechanically I would like to get as sound model as possible though I am not unaccustomed to getting on the spanners having spent a good part of my life as an HGV fitter.
