Aye, you should!
The best tractor ever made, ever!
More like one of the best ploughman ever made !
I agree!! You couldn’t kill that wee 3 pot DB engine.
1594 Turbo which was supplied new by Riverlea Tractors complete with its turbo charger.
We will rebuild it when time allows. Could really do with a different bonnet as this one is full of holes
Are you ploughing with a DB plough @Selectamatic?
Was the turbo fitted by dealer? Wouldn’t have been an option on a 1594 in the factory? Nice to have a white one. I always preferred them to the reds
Lovely!! The 880 would be earning its keep pulling 3 scores? I would like a DB plough the same for mine at some time.
Same plough as mine!mine on ransom tcn bodies ,what's yours ?
It would probably pull four in good going, but it would not lift them!
make a lovely job,my plough 2 furrow,3 rd furrow is beyond repair so will leave it a two !
When I had hair and flares.
Turbo fitted when new at Riverlea Tractors.
It's a TB Turbo kit pulls like a train
Brilliant photo, could have been made for a DB brochure!
Why the 1410 back wheels on a 1212?
My 996 same as that had it 32 years now ,great wee tractor
What hp would that be with the turbo?
What size of tanker is on the 996?
Ha Ha, as a matter of fact the picture was taken for DB Tractor News, Mrs N worked in the telephone exchange at DB and arranged it via the publicity dept. One of the original copies Mrs N has tucked away, this one is taken from Gibbard Tractors.
The rear wheels were actually made for 1212 as an alternative fitment and fitted with 15 x 30 tyres, later fitted 14 x 34 wheels to increase road speed slightly.
