Shows in Wales?

Horse show at the royal Welsh in September and planning winter fair. Assembly haven't been particularly helpful for show planning because their rule changes are very short notice

Usk is only open to locals.

Horse shows have been going on since last summer.

Assembly would be quite happy for all farming folk to be relegated to the cellar and made to work like Cinderella.

ISDS International sheepdog trial is in Aberystwyth this year, local council say only competitors (with a plus 1) and officials are allowed, not sure if they'll stick to that with the rules having changed this weekend.

Competitors only at Pembs?
members have been offered a chance to buy tickets too.

My daughter has got two cracking Ayrshire heifers and it seems a shame to only take them to Pembs show.

The Royal Welsh show has had over 1 million pounds in hand outs off the Welsh government over Covid and all there staff have been on furlough I say they have made more profit in the last 18 months without shows

No I don't think it's due to covid. I have been in contact with the show and the reason apparently is that locals were put off by "professional show teams" and not entering. So I told them they were lucky they could afford to put people off when most shows struggle to get a good entry!!
