Sick ewe post lambing

Got a 3 day lambed ewe. Lambed triplets herself. Cleansed OK. She had big bag pre lambing. She's been off colour all day. Lambs full but she's no keen on coming in for her feeding. Wondering if it could be a touch of milk fever?

What is best to feed her to promote recovery? I have her on hay, molasses and couse mix at mo.

She's in an individual pen as was waiting on another to lamb to shift them to another wee shed together. Think she would fair better out in main pen with others yet to lamb and will have to do this tomorrow but lambs are not as strong as I'd like for that.

It may be different with you but a lot of ours don’t like being inside and go moody and then off their milk, put them on grass and they sharpen up quick!

Thank you. I feel this is very likely the case. Sadly its just too cold to put my newly lambed pedigree blues out (plenty still to lamb outside just now) but I'm definitely going to kick her out pen and in with some yet to lamb in shed.

I wouldn’t put BFL in a pen with some that havnt lambed :0 they tend to bring each other on as their so maternal and you end up having lambs prem with no wool on them :/
We’re a bit warmer and have been chucking BFL’s out the next day quite a lot this year - even a ewe lamb that lambed in January :0

Can you not put her out in the day and in at night? Or get the lawnmower out and give her fresh grass? We find a lot of hill ewes detest coming in and after 3 days they need fresh grass :/

I've a wee fieldy that she could go into on her own but there's a dangerous burn runs thru it.

Best feed is grass!

Take her temp, check her udder, and treat accordingly.

If possible chuck her out during the day, even if it's only for an hour, she'll sure if get a bite along a track or around a hedge back.
Her udder is perfect, just in from checking her. Will check temp, forgot about that.

Yeah I could put her down farm track. Bit of grass on verges right enough. Thanks.

I'd get her temp asap, early treatment is always key.

How much of, and what are you feeding her?
Could she just have had a bit too much after lambing?
Ooh an armful hay, splash of molasses morning and night and approx 0.7lbs course mix per day.
