Hi all
We were gathering our gimmers that we winter the other day and there was a straggler at the back. She was very slow on her feet and then fell over towards the pen. A lot smaller than the others who are in rude health. Took her in and her eyes had obviously been streaming as marks all down her face. Local farmer came over and we gave her some antibiotic. She’s been in a few days but just lies there, not interested in feed but has picked at hay over night. She just looks knackered and her breathing is a little laboured. Any ideas what might have caused this? Also any suggestions to give her a boost welcomed - we are quite inexperienced. It was just after that cold spell and we have several nights of double digit minus temperatures.
Thanks!
