just come across these on YouTube, is there a UK version similar or anyone importing them?
Spread pattern looks a bit iffy for fert but looks a handy tool for small quantities of ag lime versus the dreaded prilled version.

For commercial farming use? Forget it, imagine having 30 tonnes to spread. How many fills? But if you've got more specialist work that you can charge a premium, parks, large lawns, horse paddocks etc , then it could become viable.

There is a place for a mounted spreader that will do lime, just not that one. We are limited to prilled for some ground now because the kit has gone big and tall and no one wants to know about steep, awkward fields. No offence to Pete but if the xerion couldn't get around warwickshire,it wouldn't want a trip round midwales doing one in one slopes

No, you’re right there. Horses for courses.

An Aussie company named Southern Spreaders make a mounted bulk lime spreader. I had a very basic one here but scrapped it because I could never find a use for it and nobody called when I advertised it for sale.

I've a Crump ,Aussie built mounted spreader, probably held up to two tonnes, tried to make various agitators to go inside the hopper, but some stuff would just smear and bridge.

Where in mid wales are you? There's still one or two covering this area that does side work.
