I have one solitary 5 acre field to mow tomorrow afternoon. I hope it looks like that. Been waiting a month for it to dry.

did 2nd cut, in our 'posh' neighbours, 6 acres, 1st cut, 7 x 5ft round hay, this 12 4 ft haylage, not bad, for no fert, 6 years ! and free. Another 16 acres, same, elsewhere, next week. Then, hopefully a late cut, on some here.

As long as its not laying down it cuts it perfect. If it starts laying down you need to cut back half width to pick up what it went over. Makes drying a bit challenging

But different from yesterday, 10 degrees colder and gentle breeze they said, tried one row and look back its gone , gonna have to row infront of bailer, half hour wait

Yes got to go replant a gate post and sort wall corner out. Made gateway a bit wider it was a right door smasher before

Finished cutting open the wet parts. In bunker now. Now just time to close up. Will cut the majority thats left in 3 weeks time.
