Out helping local contractors today
It was only sown 50 kg acre oats and peas .Peas were starting to form oats just white grain .Done with second cut mixed in cut for 24hrs ideally bit more sun but dried by the time picked up .Field was undersown so wanted to take off to give grass a chance before gets any drier.What stage do you take the whole crop ? How do the grains fair ?

Bales for steep ground as theres no way they will roll away!They wouldn't need to let those bales sit too long.

They do like N, and you need to be on top of them cutting wise for quality.
Ours will hopefully do 4 cuts this year.....weather permitting! Missed 4th last year due to rain.
They need a good wilt !
