Silage analysis results

Got some bales tested during the week as cattle are housed. The results were
DM. 37 31
D valve 69 68
Crude protein 11 13.5
PH. 4.5 4.1
Lactic. 28 58
Ammonia. 2.5 2.9
First column is first cut second is second cut. Second cut bales smells bad and isn't keeping good. What would be wrong with them? Cut too early. What amount of 16% meal would I need to feed along with ad-lib silage would I need to feed to store cattle from 6m to 18m to keep them growing and get ready for finishing?

I haven't a lot of cattle so 2 bales would do 3 days. I wanted to get them tested so opened a first and second cut together but when I opened it, it didn't smell good and cattle didn't like it. It went dark very quick while the first cut sat prefect and smells sweeter.

Start with two kilos of cake a day and weigh them then weigh them in 5-6 weeks. If they rnt averaging what you want a day or gaining to much then adjust the meal accordingly as long as it is cost affective to do so.
