Silage sheet covers

Our silage pits are in a fairly exposed site, so looking for the best silage sheet covers to stop the sheet flapping and also to stop crows pecking the sheet.
We have some woven black sheets that we bought at a farm sale quite a few years ago(not sure of make), the crows have pecked a few holes in them over time and also one has a pretty pattern cut in it with the shear grab so looking to get so more.
Thinking of getting some green 'secure covers' thinking they might not attract the crows as much

Is anyone using these or what other makes should i look at?

secure covers, you still need plenty of weight on them though, but for the love of god don't buy the gravel bags, horrible horrible things to work with, worse than tyres and nowhere near heavy enough to hold down sheets in high winds, you'd need thousands of them

We have both secure covers and galebreaker covers. The secure covers are better as they have a bit more friction to them so the sand bags don't slip down on the slopes. Galebreaker ones are smooth so difficult to keep sand bags on the slopes.
I would much rather work with the sand bags (Filled with 20mm gravel) than tyres.

We use gravel bags and been fine, outside exposed pit. Just seal them with UV resistant cable ties. Ours have become brittle and there breaking and losing gravel.

Gravel is OK until the bags start to leak, then it gets in the silage. We use old dairy wash chemical 25 litre cans half full of water.
When they get torn/broken?
Ours are only on 2nd season outdoor clamp filled with sand and it's dried in sun and comes through mesh the bags are made of. Only a little bit but in 5 year bags be half empty! That's why I thought gravel wouldn't come through mesh. Ours are tied with the string they came with, tyrap be better

It is generally the seams that go. Perhaps it is because we are in a flint area, and our gravel can be sharp.
