The three customers (who grow barley)I spray for have all finished W Barley and all three have normal if not more straw than usual although they all said its brittle. Seems 7.5 t / ha of grain average.
OSR being cut now,one finished , 2.85 t / ha over weighbridge,7% moisture. As others said, plenty of seed but small in size.

Don't know about barley but wc wheat has been selling for well over £700 per acre down here.
So does it cost £600/ acre to grow?
Assuming they’d be happy with £100/ acre profit plus sub.
Think most round here would snap your hand off at that price or is it just due to current weather making grub short ?
