Interested in what good small bales of hay are making at the moment?
Sold out of our £4.50 bales (timothy, ryegrass and cocksfoot)

Not much left of £4.75 bales (meadow hay from permanent pasture)

Sold out of £5.00 bales (herbal mix and anything that was fallowed for efa)

Now bought some large bales in to keep our livery yard going.
Considered putting prices up but decided to stick as we are.

10.3 me and lovley stuff dont normally go together

Before March it's all about quality. From then on it's all about quantity.

And there's nothing wrong with well-preserved haylage at 10.3 ME. The worst that can happen is that it might need a bit of extra concentrate.
And often all that happens with exceptional good forage is that stock eat too much.
