Have 3-400 5ft round bale haylage done last july no rain /no ragwort, no clover from parkland that not sprayed / fertilised but not certified organic. Would like to sell to one buyer. North Hertfordshire
 
You cant sell it for that,losing money on every bale...
Some delivering 6 string squares in t £10'bale to same customer...
It's only crap grass were clearing ready for hay crop..
Land that's been left for 3 yrs+ so full dead grass in bottom..
Will be doing 500 acres 2 nd cut with any luck after hay so its handy to clear fields and have market for it straight away..
Customer will take much as we can bale with in reason..
Also few headlands, patches under woodland etc.

I think we need to hold fire until the Irish dust settles. They have left growers thinking their hay is worth more than it is , grass is growing on well so if they get harvest weather plenty will be made and prices will fall
