What sort of muck spreader do you spread them with...interesting..thinking of doing the same myself
Have a read through this thread. Some photos of beet put out with the rear discharge.

I just dribble my beet out of the bucket on the loader across the field . If I use spuds then I drag the Cambridge roll behind to break them up a bit as I've had a couple with spuds stuck I throat but it needs to be dry for that . Mostly theses days it's beet

...and it's cattle I'm feeding it to not sheep .

The joy of the rear discharge root is the spread over a large area. Helps reduce the poaching and I think that breaking them up helps them get onto them. I’ve don it out of he loader bucket, but my manitou is a heavy lump and marks on soft going. My spreaders on massive Russian tyres and I go out with 10 or so, as @livestock 1 says, major labour saving.

I tip a lot over fences and dykes with the telehandler in small tips to avoid rive up
