120/90 6 stringers approx 2 to ton?
120/70 6 stringers approx 3 to ton?
Yeah, but was hoping Derek might have seen them to estimate, some of the HD 6 strings are getting far more the 500kgs in a bale and some older balers far less, , I run a 80x90, size and have weights from 220kgs to 330 kgs in winter barley straw all on a similar density setting.

Have had a few loads of HD 6 and 8 stringers that have really weighty.

Needs to be right type of straw going in to come out right!

I think that says more about how the NH was set up than about the round baler, we all can make a 250 kg bale if we wanted to. 😏

after 3 seriously dry years, we now have water bubbling up all over the place. The old saying 'February fill dyke' looks like we may have a decent summer, (damp), so, might not need to buy fodder this year ! Straw will be cheap, because we are putting 22 ac spring barley in, if it dries out, just sods law !
