First standing straw sales down here kick off this Friday, will be intresting to see what trade is like but everyone i speak to is expecting prices to be be well back on 12 months ago.
which the auctioneers will do their best to avoid, and they can be very clever, or cunning. Best bought out of barn this yr, l reckon.
got 16 acres of sb this year, 1st corn for yrs, and is looking fantastic, esp compared with neighbour's over the hedge ! But it's not harvested yet, it could go flat, def risk, or shite harvest, and that applies everywhere. Don't count your chickens, till they hatch, then, fox might have them !
