Looked at some small bales of hay £3 each but to be honest your granny could of picked them up on her little finger, they werent packed very tight.
Alright for the horsey folk i suppose,but a bale wouldnt go very far.

I was thinking that , but we've had hundreds of tons from the east and still no blackgrass :scratchhead: but we do have a plough .:oops::shifty:
A couple of my neighbouring arable farmers are refusing muck from the dairy lads, as they don't want the risk. Chap I'm growing maize for, has changed from straw to a different kind of bedding
