Well @Hfd Cattle have you made a killing what was trade like
What sold was a good price and it seemed people had picked what they wanted and were prepared to pay for it. What didnt sell didnt seem to get a bid and auctioneer was running it hoping to catch a bid. A fair sale though and better than many of us expected by a long way. Certainly obvious that folks have decided buying fodder is the better bet than buying fert. Hay, haylage and silage was a far easier sell than straw although what straw sold , sold well imo

Which auction is this? What were big squares of hay making if you don’t mind me asking?

Didn't get rich !!
Didn't sell it all .
Thought one of my lots didn't sell but it did
Big square bales hay £22 to £30
Round bale hay £20 ish
Haylage £22/£23
Silage £15 to £19 .
Round straw £17 ish
Square straw 80x70x8' ££17 ish
