Horsey folk still happy to pay £4/bale from a trusted source, most people selling them have regular customers who are happy with £4 ,but a scan of local equine adverts has a fair bit priced at £3-£3.50What's the price of small hay at the moment?
Afternoon I'm knew on here do you have silage for saleThere is no trade on bale silage at the moment or likely to be unless you have a neighbour short of feed, hay is moving abit now with vendors needing to empty sheds for lambing and lowering there prices and realising that last years prices were a sellers market and this year is a buyers market, plenty of nice round hay £12-15 . Straw will get dearer as the winter moves on but straw and fodder in general is way back in price and not likely to rise much if at all until late feb when farmers start to work out what they need to see them through imo and even then they might not need much. Last few years fodder has been at the top of the market , now its hit rock bottom .
No but theres tons about, trouble is this early in the winter you find people will hang onto it rather than take a low price in the very faint hope it gets dearer . Fodder on sellmylivestock is way over priced, thats why its on there because they know it won't make it at auction ,abit like half the animals on there!Afternoon I'm knew on here do you have silage for sale
Most of the stuff at auction as a high reserve ,you have to pay the reserve to get it atmNo but theres tons about, trouble is this early in the winter you find people will hang onto it rather than take a low price in the very faint hope it gets dearer .
