Probably meant by end of January you should have enough food too start winter all over again maybe? So youv always 2 months food spare...

My grandfather always used too have an entire clamp spare every year used too have 2 clamps and alternate which one he used each year so was always 12 months ahead with food
Candlemas day, 2nd feb, should have in store half your corn and half your hay.

off to look at some 6 string hay, some this year, some last £10 bale, says its pretty good stuff, but has to go, going to bring 8 bales back to try, on a I/w trailer, very close to a friend, his trailor, but he will be here on thurs. But it is haulage that kills the job, Any other prices of fodder ? as we are nearly 1/2 way through jan,, farmers wishing to sell, must soon start realising its not going to get to last years prices, as with our hay, chap wanted mega bucks last winter, and turned down strong bids, look where it got him, and now, it has to be moved, greed cometh before a fall.
North or S of you?

Ok, was just thinking if you didn't want it all...?
sorry, at that price, we will take all we can, but S&S have a fodder sale next week, it will be interesting to see the prices, it sells at, rather than 'bought back in' price ! As always, its the haulage that kills it, even paying £10 a bale, its £51 a ton back here !

Don't think you can complain at £51 delivered!
