So I run out and have to buy in all this £180 a ton stuff you are all discussing 🤣🤣?

If someone can suggest a cheap alternative to straw that doesn't lock up nitrogen and won't bring in blackgrass I would appreciate it.
If I had my own sheds I would look at slats, or outwintering if I had my own land.

least arguable way, is the weighbridge.
Local contractor, having extolled the virtues, of belt balers, for several years, has gone back to a roller one, fine, but the price, per bale, is the same, the bale is not, it's 20% lighter, that is, in effect, a 20% rise in baling costs, most farmers either haven't realised, or couldn't care.
