Again its a location thing but imo there will be more round bales of silage sold nearer £10 than £20 this winter, autumn has been great for keeping stock out. I have bought 80 bales of round cow hay at a fiver which the cows are loving while still out just because i couldnt turn it down.£15 if buying £25 if selling

It could be,but it will all depend on what kind of Winter we get.Come the spring when people are waiting for fertiliser ( and see the price if it), fodder will look cheap at twice the price
Be some long faces about thenFodder very steady at Goostrey today. 12 loads entered 5 hay, 7 straw. 6 loads sold. 1 hay and 2 barley straw from a dealer didn’t sell but it’s very rare he does sell. It’s just a valuation exercise.

Load round bale sticks, smelt musty. Cows would be bloody hungry too eat it £64 looked bloody well sold.
