This is to show a one person high quality, low volume, very reliable, very low wastage system of Vacuum Compressed Silage that I used from 1966 to 2002 when I retired. A website has all the details if you want to know more. It is still feasible now and it may come back into fashion as the Government steers us towards new priorities in farming. It suits a medium size family farm very well and should appeal to Organic livestock farmers. This is for farmers looking for quality but not necessarily speed in grass silage making.
