If you're self feeding from the face there's less slurry to move in wet weather, you can stack straw on top of the silage, and in front when you've moved some away, I've split quite a few tractors because the floor is usually flat and level. I swapped a wagon cab over when it was pissing down with rain.Whats the point of a indoor silage pit?
