38 urea + 8 sulpher £750 today
I can get away with just 10 ton of nitrogen for 100 acre of reseeded fields the other 100 acre will just get muck and it is what it is. Last year I was cutting pastures that got away in front of the stock, it had no fert and was getting grazed.
Been reducing the amount spread on pastures for a few years, last year I think there was only 2 bags spread where there’s a big number of cows go to run with a bull. Lime has transformed grazing here. theres not much that hasn’t had at least 2T acre in the last 5 years.

Last year (north England) was an exceptional year for growing grass

No fert ordered and no wrap either probably don’t need one without the other 🤷‍♂️ crazy year ahead but my grandad would always tell me these are the years you make a pound 🤞
