Yes it’s become very popular throughout the country and keeps people playing into their 60/70s and beyond .
lots of teams and tournaments that are very competitive . On our weekly sessions we do play a bit more than walking, more like 3 touch 5 aside , but in proper games the refs can be quite strict .
have a look on facebook walking football forum or YouTube videos .
Bit like joining a cycling club then , we have groups for all ages and abilities, but thanks yes will have a look

Got a retired Dairy farmer friend who is very keen on walking footie. Mentioned that some teams have ex-pro's playing for them in competitions! He also mentioned the need for good Refs... ;)

Who does he play for ?
we have mini tournaments against local teams . Do also play in national cups against teams that definitely have ex pros playing . We’ve played against Birmingham and a West Brom team recently
