Silverweed problems

Around the kitchen garden, back of house and trailing badly into the old orchard. What is the best plan of action? Its silver in appearance never seen flowers on it. Its trailing into the veg beds too. Its has a very strong root base. How can we action this? Im worried that leaving this will allow it to trail further.

We get the best hay off the field which is infested with silverleaf. I don't know the reason.
