Simba MiniFlow trameline problem

Have a problem with MiniFlow this spring re: tramlines. Looks like the cogs aren't stopping all the time whilst on a tramline bout. Sometimes its worked OK, sometimes partly & sometimes not at all. Pre- em markers have worked ok. Neighbour suggested it could be a build up of muck- dust between seed cog and shaft. Any other suggestions ??

First check the spring that grips the fluted roller they can snap the end off .then check the ram is moving the rod properly underneath the hopper.it moves left to right.attached to the shaft is a arm for each tramline .They are fastened on with a u bolt . When the rod movies across the arm catches the end of the spring stopping the roller from turning.make shure the arm is adjusted so it catches the spring but also clears it when not tramlining

Thought I'd report back on this - now solved problem. Muck, seed dressing etc. had built up between the cogs and shaft whilst using it in damp conditions in December. Solution = clean down with air line, drill a hole in each cog until you reach the shaft, just big enough to get a WD40 long nozzle down it & spray "liberally" until turn freely.
