£10 of parts from the local garden Center to allow direct filling of liquid manganese and other products from IBC to sprayer

How do you measure the volume of Mn, or are you using the 100L marks on the IBC?

How do you measure the volume of Mn, or are you using the 100L marks on the IBC?

The sprayer is rather clever ! - it measures everything going in via flow meter - you can even set it to pull 100L and then stop for example


On a previous not so cleaver sprayer we hose piped it into the induction bowl which had a volume scale

they are but overkill for such a simple application really

we have several stores we pull from so leave the hoses there

Got the proper camlock fitting of griff so I can use the 2” hose [emoji1303]

We usually fit the small cam lock fitting on there at PDI anyway if asked

Just had a similar idea. Feed up of spills of manganese so have just order this IBC connection,rubber hose and metal gun on a swilled connector. 5m. Straight into induction hopper has a litre marker inside induction hopper. £60 + VAT +p&p.

those garden hose fittings are very poor, use small camlok much better.

The metal hoselock type fittings (cheap enough from toolstation) are far better than the plastic.

Not specifically ag/farm but was sick of loosing the locking spanner for the grinder so zip tied it to the end of the cord, one you don’t loose it, second makes you unplug it for safer disc changing
