Hi I've drilled peas and oat in Rishby with an Aitchison 3018C GrassFarmer with brilliant results the sponges handle the peas and oats really well. do have some pictures of the field.Did the beans come up okay?
Are you changing from ploughing them in or drilling into a seedbed?
Boss is keeping an eye out for a Claydon to drill beans but we only have 150hp!
At least they got rich in the 50's!!+2. This sounds like a story my grandpa would tell me about farming in the fifties. Wet the sponges boy and put your wax jacket on the radiator until it’s warm enough to run on tvo…
Pictures would be good!
Regarding the maize, do you block up every other coulter? And do you just direct drill it or do you make a tilled seedbed? Not planted beans with my grassland farmer, but have planted peas and maize with out any problems.
I block up so I drill at 18'', but I have to drive either wide or narrow to match the rows.Regarding the maize, do you block up every other coulter? And do you just direct drill it or do you make a tilled seedbed?
I'm desperate to give no till maize ago
