Jean Castex tonight , announcing stricter measures in France.

"All those arriving into France from outside the EU will have to have a negative Covid test within 72 hours, isolate for 7 days and then have another negative Covid test"

What lorry drivers are going to come to the uk now?

Simply proves how provocative and self serving the EU had become to save their own necks - as the drivers going from Ireland / into Ireland on the nice new ferry runs will obviously not be the same threat for Covid transmition for some remarkable reason...

The simple act of actively trying to thwart any potential smooth transition in this manner should be condemned imho - as this can lead to very dangerous situations for all, but then I fear this may be the ulterior motive for some..

Sad times indeed, but expected nthing more to be honest..

Yup, it’s a two way street but now with bollards and chicanes. Thankfully I just missed the era of chicanes in stage rallying. Many uses for round bales eh?

yep, 130mph down a loose track between trees seemed the best thing in the world , when I was 20.

Well, we have had containers sitting in Bristol for a week unable to be customs cleared as they don't know how to process the paperwork. Now gone higher up in HMRC. The expensive 'joke' is they are duty free goods. Demurrage charges are escalating.
Also, we've had to tell two good Irish Republic customers that we cannot trade with them until a customs process is devised.
Brilliant, well done everyone.

But at least we have our sovereignty back ffs..
