So the disruption is intentional
No, you don't get it.
The EU are saying if you want to negotiate better access ,ie. EEA (Norway/Switzerland) then of course they are open to this.
But stay a third country , and distance further by dropping the WTD and going to a Singapore tax regime , then you can lie in the bed you've made!

EU are thinking of Covid vaccination certificates! External EU borders to be closed unless you hold a recognised EU vaccine certificate.
Ursula Von De Leyen is not keen as there are judicial questions on the fairness!

EEA requires free movement of people

Actually says free movement of workers. You could make them go home after 3 months if no job . But you always could, as Belgium did, and you know full well.👍

The 90 day in 180 day rule is beginning to sink in. Today on a news report companies with staff that do quite a bit of work in EU countries are grappling with the requirement to know employees time available to work - will require holiday days used in EU. And starting to establish wat visa requirements for work. Impression from report was it ain't as easy as the Glib Gove reckons. Fun and games

I did say a few days ago will there be standardization of vaccine passports - or will it become another barrier to travel. Fascinating times ahead.

You can tell Gove and rubbish Boris are lying when their lips move.
How sane people can bear to put up with them beats me, they lie and no one calls them out 😭

Now that is taking protectionism to the edge. No vaccine in the world is guaranteed, so it’s all relative. The EU or no other developed area can say they are better standard against Covid than another. Why did the EU want to control what each country did? Can’t each country look after itself? This is a pandemic not trade and commerce. As I’ve said earlier “kids playing in the sandpit”. All sides need to grow up and sort things out. I don’t believe the masses in the EU dislike the British as a whole and visa versa; it’s the few that create the barriers and problems.
