Single Market / Customs Union - A Tragic Loss

It’s the leavers who should now be holding the government to account. They were promised milk, honey, sunny uplands, deregulation, wads of cash for the NHS, trade deals by the dozen, easiest deal in history with the EU, frictionless trade because the “they need us more than we need them”, blah, blah, blahdy da...
Leavers liked the idea, and so gave their imprimatur at the ballot box.
Now it’s time to deliver. Time for the leave voters to hold the Brexiteer leaders to account. Time to call out shambles and poor delivery where it is apparent ... which is everywhere.
Remainders .... well to be frank, they aren’t in the least bit surprised at the current situation. They were never taken in by the dog whistles.

Let’s hear the leavers now call it as it is .....
We have trade deals by the dozen. I'm not short of milk or honey and we can't expect sunny uplands until spring as usual. As for the NHS, many wads of cash have been pumped in. If the French are being gayboys and holding up trade as usual, that's up to them. I am quite content with the outcome. It seems some on the other side are very much not.

Yep, even went up top the hill today to get some bales and the sun was out so leaving has even delivered the sunny uplands.

You are in Eire I believe. The EU are raping you. Not the time to be smug. Enjoy your role as net contributor to a failed project.
Eire was at one time a net recipient of EU funding, they are now a net contributor which illustrates that the system works well.

Appears to me that most remainers on here don't live in the UK. At least not the most vocal ones. Odd.

Apologies for having the audacity to comment on an event that is happening in the UK/EU when I don't live there!

I can see why this uk haulage thing is going all to cock.
So, Mrs Czech ordered a simple gift on line with a uk company on the 18th December for a UK household. Gift received today  .
No wonder your struggling with international stuff🤭

Makes little difference to me whether the uk is part of the EU or not, it will be interesting to see how they fare in the big wide world though and the majority of comments from brexitears are hilarious, it is a gift that keeps on giving.
Glad you are laughing
I to find this section very funny

Funny how?
Most of what is in this section is a waste of time apart from entertainment value, 90% has been said and said again, its just pointless point scoring in the main, most of us can do feck all about what our government does till the next election and as for the threads about trump FFS.
I stayed away from it for months till someone tagged me back into it with some sh!t stirring post.
Mostly look at what's happening on new posts then look in here for that latest round of sh1t bashing.
Still all good fun.

Don't you find it funny?
