Hi all, just read that it is still the view of some leaders in Europe that Europeans living in the UK, contribute more to the UK than they cost to support. That may be true based on immigration figures, employment and benefit figures. But does that also take into account we as a country have to pay for the costs related to crime, NHS, schooling, housing, and interpreters. If it does I would be gobsmacked.

By the way, Hi ALL

PS Totally agree with free borders if the person(s) settling in or visiting for a long while a foreign country pay their own way. Peace all.

No, migrants pay in just as much as everyone else, this is just enough to cover the costs of running the system, it does not cover the cost of a growing population

Abit like COP of dairy is 28/30p, but some people say they can run the job at 20p without getting in to debt, you can, but no reinvestment happens.

The only way i see you get round this, is having highly skilled migration that pay's on the upper end of the tax, so it covers them and add's more in to the system.

They also think we should be proud that the Nhs and social care is ran by migrants we borrowed from other countries, frankly it's a national disgrace and something should be done to train people already here and pay them decent wages, exploiting migrant labour just sow's division because of inept politicians that won't get a grip, calling it populism to address these matter's is just adding to the delusion that they're right and everyone else is wrong, if they were right, we would not have a deficit of 70 billion and god knows how much national debt.
