Skilled Arable Operator
A skilled arable operator is required on a progressive family run arable farm and contracting business in Cambridgeshire. Using regenerative farming methodsand focusing on environmental improvements, we farm 540 ha of combinable crops and environmental land management, operating modern machinery including GPS technology.
Main duties to include drilling, spraying, combining, fertiliser application, machinery maintenance and general farm duties. Implementation of conservation and habitat management will also be a key part of this role.
The successful candidate will hold a full UK driving licence, PA1 & PA2, rough terrain forklift qualifications and preferably B+E trailer licence. PA4 and other related competence certificates would be an advantage but training can be provided. This opportunity requires an enthusiastic candidate who has a high attention to detail, good understanding of IT in agriculture and flexibility to conduct a diverse range of duties.
