Good shuttering that, you make it or hire it ? too much work for a one off job.

Made it, we do a lot of slats. If you’re one of nob was lasting more than 5 weeks be cheaper to make than hire

Do you fix it too the floor too stop it lifting ? what sort of depth of tank do most folk use ?

Don’t fix it. Weight of concrete pushing on walls and the fact none can get under shutters stops it lifting. Tank depth vary from 12-6 foot. 12 foot takes some emptying with tanker though

What way did you seal between the the sections and also is that a shape fame at pillar for slats to sit into ?

This is how I do them if we’re making channels. If you’ve a lot to do might be worth you making some shutters.

Walls are only 10” thick not the 3’ thick they look on that picture

Solway do precast sections the stand in little feet then pour the floor between, slats fit on top.
Not cheapest option, but fast and easy, have seen it going in. Good job.

What way did you seal between the the sections a

Panel company supplied a pallet of tubes of sealer. Motorised gun looked good value !

Concrete H posts in and drop panels down into them, case round the post to stop slurry eroding the steel post, pour the floor, put slats on top, job done.

Do you have to shutter the whole tank in one hit or can you have a small amount of shuttering and keep moving along ? i want a tank 160` long 10` wide too shutter both sides of that would take me a year too make all the shuttering lol , maybe i should make alot then hire it out or sell it !

Do 15 foot a day. Shutters are 16’ long. Dig out and drag shutters along every day
