Slow payment

The one on the left came to our office to take instructions on a debt. Couldn't retrieve the money so we are in court tomorrow, £8.5k.
There is no excuse for not paying for work that you asked someone to do or for the supply of goods that you ordered. If you haven't the means to pay why on earth would you ever order a shed or anything else come to that.
If you need to borrow money go see your bank manager, the guy that's doing that work or supplies your goods needs to eat as well.
Some people have no conscience!

That's not good at all, must add up to a fair chunk of money and you've still gotta pay the wages after each job.

Fingers crossed I'll have another job lined up for you shortly! (y)

Thats why i cant get through my head all those that make out that we dont need any sub. I know in my situation i can pay my bills on time (with in reason) but without my sub i couldnt. Simple as that. When the bps comes in hopefully on time there is a fair chunk will go back out within that month.

Pfft you're one of worst payers I've ever had ;) think the money was in my account before I got home actually  if everyone was like you steevo my life would be a lot easier

These sort of threads always remind me of a plumber that mum and dad used to use years ago, he was quite a character, when out at any social events etc if anyone asked him what he did for a living he would say " I provide interest free loans for tuppenny ha'penny toffs"

My dad saw of one my debters this morning and said to him "he'd be doing alright if it wasn't for all these jobs he keeps doing for charity"

Same here. Our silage contractor doesn't send out invoices until December though how the hell he manages for cash flow is beyond me. Times are hard and there just isn't the money about. Still no excuse for slow payment though. If / when the subs end there are going to be huge changes.
