I depends on what you want, other than dead slugs! I prefer little and often, especially in weather like this where even the expensive ones don't last long. I use Sluxx or FeLyn which are mid market price and quality.

I've revived this thread because I'm seeing epic slug numbers in wheat after osr. 7 kg/ha Sluxx have nearly all gone in 5 days!

Had bad slugs last year, so had in mind to roll before and after combination drilling, but it’s just been too wet.
Where we managed to roll the wheat is getting away nicely, but later planted couple of fields are just coming up, and we have already pelleted twice.
Bloody weather

Yes we are having problems after osr even though it was rolled before and after drilling. Thankfully only 1 part field of osr survived last year so only a small area to worry about and no osr planted this year as its now sfi
