Slurry application to silage/grazing

2nd cut coming off next week.

With the dry conditions, am I better to dribble bar or splash plate the slurry on? About 1 tanker/acre.

Very dry here with typically very little rain in June/July. Reasonably thick stuff.

Plan will be to graze aftermaths about 5 to 6 weeks after cutting.

TIA

Trailing shoe is best option but failing that dribble bar. Cows been happy to graze here 2 weeks after trailing shoe

Bit of a faff here to apply to grazing ground but works well, parlour washings go to a separate tank so if I pump from the slatted tank until it’s 50/50 and apply at 1500 gallons to the acre behind the cows it’s working really well.

Our slurry has a fair bit of waste silage and chopped bedding straw in it and the contractor had to abandon the dribble bar as it blocked the macerator/ pump on the dribble bar.
Splash plate worked fine.
Have to get it on ASAP after cutting so no contamination of new growth.
Then pray for rain.
